皆さんのお住いの地域や出先で、アメリカの車走ってるの見かけますか？

先日、出先でかなり古いと思われるこだわりのあるであろうアメリカ車が走ってるのは見た位です。
平べったくて大きいセダン。

我が家周辺は外車といえば、ベンツ、BMW、ポルシェ、ミニクーパーが多いかな。
要するにヨーロッパ系よね。

アメリカのメーカーは、小さめの車は作らない方針なの？
自国も、小さめを好む人も昔より多いんじゃないの？

田舎ではでっかいキャデラックが尊敬された。
スーパー停めたら子供がさわりに来て小さな手形がいっぱい付いた。

それまではマツダ、トヨタに乗ってたが
アウディA4の中古を買ったら、思いのほか乗りやすく故障もなかったので
次もアウディA3を新車で買ったが、思ったほど故障はなかった。
その次はベンツのAクラスを買ったが、1年経ったけど全然故障ないし
狭い道でも乗りやすい。
日本でよく売れてるのがわかる。

アメ車でコンパクトセダンってあるのかな？？ないから売れないのかな

アメリカは道路も家も駐車場も広いから、小さい車を作る必要はないのよね。
他の人がレスしてるけど、JEEPは格好良くなったので売れてるね。
JEEPは小さめの車種もあったはず。
今また旧車ブームで、昔のカマロとかたまに見かける。
丁寧に乗ってたんだなーと感心しちゃうけど、古いアメリカ車は手間暇かかるから、本当に好きじゃなきゃ維持できないだろうな。
ヨーロッパ車はスタイリングの良さとお洒落なイメージが人気だものね。
このごろのヨーロッパ車は故障なんてしないし。
でもこの円安ですごく値上がりしてる。
今、輸入車に乗れる人はお金持ちだと思ってる。

輸入車＝故障 なんていつの時代の話かと思った。
輸入車が故障ばかりなんて言う人、私の親世代じゃないかなあ。
ボルボ、アウディ、BMW、ゴルフ、ベンツ等々、身近で所有してる人から故障したなんて聞かない。
私も３０年輸入車を乗ってるけど、今まで大きな故障はないね。
日本車にもあるリコールとか部品交換ぐらいはあるけど。
あ、でもフィアットとかはわからない。
イタリア車って可愛いけど、乗ってみたらどうなのかな。
興味あるな。

友人のボルボは新車購入で最初の車検以降
しょっちゅう修理に出してるみたい。
うちも8年前はAUDI乗ってたけど
やっぱり最初の車検後故障が多くて
国産に乗り換えたよ。

AUDI修理に出して半年帰ってこなかった。
代車貸してくれたけどね。
修理から戻って、窓開けて閉めたら
ガラスがはずれて、また3ヶ月代車だった。

一時、元ヤンがHUMMERに乗ってたな。
中古車もえらい高くて驚いた。

JEEPはよく見る。
格好いいので、うちも買おうかと検討した。

アメリカ車はヨーロッパ車に比べてお値段が控えめなのがいいんだけど、ドイツ車やスウェーデン(ボルボだけ)車ほど信用できないのは、私が古い人間だからかな。
