大学一年の娘が中退することになりました。
勉強についていけないそうです。

ショックが大きいです。

大学で踏ん張れなければ、
仕事でも踏ん張れないと思うので、
お先真っ暗です。

身近で中退した方しりませんか？
これからどうなっていくのでしょうか？

唯一頭を切り替えようと頑張れるのは、
学費と一人暮らしの諸々のお金が
浮く・・・というだけです。

それがね、ゆとり教育の影響で高校までの履修内容と大学の講義に隔たりができてしまって、入学後についていけない学生が増えているんだって。
かなりの難関大でも、仕方なく補習授業をやる大学もあるって聞いた。

考えてみたら１年の授業料はもう納めちゃってるよね。

道はいろいろあると思うので、とにかく早まらないようにね。

嫌になったらやめればいい、って思考になるんです。
うちの兄がそうです。47歳、独身、今は無職。
大学3年の頃に中退して、今までいくつ仕事を変えたんだろうというくらい、わからないくらい変えてます。
だから結婚もできない。まー本人の気持ちもないんですけどね。自分がそういう状態だと結婚も興味ないみたいです。
ヘタに歳を重ねている分、自分の気に入らない事は受け入れられなくなってます。我慢もできなくなっています。
大学辞めるまでは、真面目な優しい兄でした。
年々、気性も荒くなり、クレーマー的なキャラに変わりつつあります。ワガママになっちゃってるんですね。

嫌なら辞めればいい、、、、
この思考が刷り込まれちゃうと大変ですよ。
まだもう少し頑張ってみましょうよ。
お子さんの人生そのものが変わってしまいますよ。

ついていけない子を集めて、補習授業。
基礎学力のない子は高校の英数の

例えばだけど

底辺私立薬学部なんかは、へたしたら文系からセンター国語一科目でも合格できてしまう。

試験方式によっては、
「センターで一番高得点１科目」で合否が決まったりするから。

だから文系からでも行けるんだ、って勘違いして
私立薬学にうっかり入ってしまって
結局やるのは理系も理系、化学や物理、数学生物だから
そこで一瞬で諦めて辞める子が多い。
パニックになるのもそれならばわかる。

文系の子が文系学部で、理系の子が理系学部でなら
夏までは最低持つだろう。
化学物理数学が極端に得意な理系の子が英語や生物などで苦しむのはたまに聞くけど
５月で諦めることはないだろう。

入学金、授業料稼ぎの捨て石にされるんだろうね。
そういうところは文科省から指導が入ってます。

一年の前半から勉強したい事と違うと休みがちに。

学生課などから親に連絡があり、兄と話し合い、もう一年頑張ってみようと。
しかし、二年目も変わらず、休み続け、兄の精神状態がおかしくなって来た（詳しく診断受けたわけじゃないけど、考えすぎてパニックになって夜中に家に電話してきたり、過呼吸になったりしたようです）
で、とうとう二年目の途中で中退。

地元に帰ってきて、一年浪人し、本当に入りたかった学部に入学。
その後も卒業する時になっても、この単位が取りたいとか何かと理由を付けて、聴講生を二年やったりしてました。

今はなんとか普通に働いてます。
が、私から見ると、精神的に不安定なのは変わってません。
自分の予測しない事に弱く、二年前に父が認知症になり、何もしていないのに先々の事を不安がり、不眠症になり、心療内科にかかり薬を飲んでます（ちなみに同居の兄は介護一切関わらず、別居の私が介護しているのにです…）

私の勝手な予想ですが、うちの兄は学部を理由にしていましたが、友達もおらず孤独だという事に病んだように思います。聴講生になった理由は社会に出るのが不安で先延ばしにしていた。

地元に帰り、精神状態が落ち着いたら、今後の事をお子さんと話し合ってみたらどうだろう。
そして、この先も思ってた事と違う事なんて山のようにあると思うので、一緒に対処して乗り越える練習していかないとね。

最初からついていけないなんて、背伸びしすぎたんだよ。
退学し、何処でもいいからアルバイトではなくパートにでたほうがいい。アルバイトより厳しい条件の中で働き、自分を見つめ直し、やはり大学で学びたいと思えたら、受験し直して、身の丈にあった大学に行けばいいと思う。

娘さんが中退するのと、息子さんが中退するのとは
ちょっと違ってくると思います。

女性は、時期時期で結婚妊娠出産育児と
細切れに役割が変わるので、女性の一生分の
ライフサイクルを見通して、娘さんの生き方に
合う選択をしていけばいいのではないでしょうか。

なので、今の時期の中退はなにかのサインかも
知れません。
人生の岐路に立っている時期なんだと私は
思うんです。どうか、娘さんのことを第一に
考えてあげてください。娘さんにとっての人生の
選択肢を見極めてあげてください。

(長々と書きましたが、一言で言うと中退させてあげて
ゆっくり休養した後、娘さんにどんな生き方をしたいのか選ばせてあげてくださいってことです。)

私は娘でも息子でも一緒だと思うよ。
男でも女でも辞めて次にいける人と、辞めて引きこもる人と両方でしょ。
女だから家事手伝いで、結婚しないでそのうち親の面倒を見てくれたらいいやって思えるならそれでいいけど・・・


主さんのお子さん、うちの妹と同じです。
うちの妹は、いろいろ親がお金をかけたあげく今も親のすねかじりのニートです。
もう４０ちかいのに、何してるんだろう。

あ、主さんじゃないけどさ。
反抗期の子供に手を焼く母です。

主さんのお子さんはまじめすぎなのかなって思う。

ダメな人間の言うこと参考にしちゃだめだけど
授業は寝てたし
テストは過去問対策やカンニングまでした。

資格を取るような学校だったら難しいかもだけど
適当に大学卒の資格を取ることだってできなくはないかも。
私は賛成じゃないけど
大学は学業だけじゃないってお母さんここにも多いし
それも一つだと思う。

私は大学生活がモラトリアムだったけど
大学生活から逃げて家庭でモラトリアムってこともあるんだね。
やり直せるし、適当にもできるけど
引きこもったら難しいかも。・

ワタシは理系だったので、高校の時と同じように朝から夕方まで学校にいて、独り暮らしなのでその後にバイトしたり、同じサークルの子の家にいったり、誰かが泊まりにきたりして、まぁまぁ充実してた。

あまりにもフリー過ぎるとでる授業もバラバラだったり、顔見知りを作るのが遅れちゃって友達を作るスタートダッシュに間にあわず、なかなかなのかなー？


なんとか研究室やゼミがでてくるような学年までいたら、少しは狭い人数の中にいられると思うけど、もうやめるってきめちゃった？

大学生のいいところは身分が安定してバイトやり放題のところ。

バイトで友達できないかな？
授業は単位を落とさない程度に頑張ったらどうにかならないかな？
